SECTION 1 - STORAGE OF DATA

When you place an order (online, in writing or by telephone) for services and products offered by us, we collect data which is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order and for further communication regarding these orders. We also use your details to be able to contact you by e-mail or telephone for further questions after you have placed your order.

When handling your data, "we comply with the applicable Swiss legislation and, wherever possible, with the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Authority. Only the data that is absolutely necessary for processing the order and for communicating with you is collected. We only collect information you have provided when placing an order. You can request your details at any time and have them changed or deleted. To do so, please send us an e-mail to info@martin-rutishauser.com.

SECTION 2 - ACCESS RIGHTS TO DATA

Access to sensitive data is strictly regulated internally. Only people who actually need the relevant data to fulfil their professional duties are granted access. Our employees receive regular training on how to handle sensitive data and are obliged to treat all information as strictly confidential. We implement technical and organizational measures to ensure that sensitive data is protected against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

SECTION 3 - COOKIES

We use cookies to optimize our website and to determine page views. This is a small file that is transmitted from our web platform to your Internet browser and stored. This means that information already entered does not have to be re-entered to enable transactions or to create a list of favourites. No security-relevant data is stored in the process. Cookies can be deactivated on your digital device at any time. As a result, certain functions and services offered by us may no longer be accessible.

SECTION 4 - ENCRYPTION

The transmission of data might be partly unencrypted. We use encryption with SSL certificates for sensitive data and personal details. Our web platform is operated by a professional provider and we use the security precautions offered by them.

SECTION 5 - NEWSLETTER AND ADDRESS

If you have provided us with your data (especially address data) via a contact or registration form on our website, it is possible that we will inform you about new offers in various ways. If you are no longer interested in receiving this information and would like to be removed from our mailing list, please send us an e-mail to info@martin-rutishauser.com with your details and the subject "please delete address".

SECTION 6 - DISCLOSURE OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

In all our business processes, the disclosure of personal data is kept to an absolute minimum. However, we rely on the services of third-party providers to process your order. We must pass on relevant information and data to these providers. At the time of writing, these providers include:

Web platform: Squarespace. Squarespace is a leading global web platform and, as such, stores and processes your personal data that you enter when ordering a service or product from us. Payment data (such as credit card numbers) are not stored. These are only known to the payment processor. Squarespace's privacy policy is available at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.

Payment Processor: Stripe. Stripe processes your payments, e.g. by credit card. Your payment data is only known to Stripe and is not shared with us and therefore not stored by us. Stripe's privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/en-ch/privacy.

Printing and delivery: Premium art printing service providers produce the prints you order, and they send them directly to you. This direct delivery (drop shipping) minimizes transport costs and speeds up delivery. To provide this service, the print service providers need your contact details.

SECTION 7 - USE OF ANALYSIS AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We want to tailor the quality of our websites and their content to your individual needs and interests. To do this, we use analysis and tracking technologies from Squarespace.
